My new Baby CZ 527 7.62x39 getting some TLC back at CZ-USA
« on: July 20, 2016, 11:15:14 AM »
Picked up this rifle last-month didn't get a chance to shoot it til this past Sunday
Fired approx. 20-25 times that all the sudden couldn't get bolt to cock on this rifle what-so-ever
Called CZ on Monday they issued a call tag most likely the screw that is or controls the sear engagement.
Anyway will get it back 4-7 wks from now. I tell ya what this Rifle when it does function is a Shooter for sure...

For future reference, this link has instructions for adjusting the set trigger. http://cz-usa.com/news/the-cz-single-set-trigger-system/  Assuming your comfort with making this type of adjustment, you might have been able to avoid shipping it back to CZ-USA and solved your issue in just a few minutes.

You're right about these carbines being real shooters.  If you get a chance, try some Hornady steel cased 123 grain SST loads, consistently sub-MOA at 100 yards.

They found more than just re-adj the set trigger- So they sent me a brand-new replacement rifle with a bedded stock, extra wolf firing or striker spring installed also by my request my original mag I shipped to CZ serv dept with another mag so I have 2 mags not just one. The accuracy wasn't up to their Standards on the 1-st new rifle that went back for repair, Anyway CZ took care of me . I( just need some time to shoot this new rifle is all- Thanks for the link on the set screw Dave !!! :)
