Same Holster for P-01 and PCR?
« on: August 16, 2016, 09:00:30 PM »
Just curious if anyone here is using the same holster for a P-01 and a PCR.

Obviously the P-01 is slightly wider at the front than a PCR, due to its full-length railed dust cover. So, while a PCR should fit in a holster designed for the P-01, I'm wondering if there's significant "slop" or "wobble" in the fit to be a concern. (This would be for CCW.)

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm thinking of getting this one: http://www.giholsters.com/product-p/hst1490.htm

I use either a Sparks Watch 6 or a Nitingale Raptor for a Sig 229 for my SDP P01, Pro-Tek I and my RAMI. These holsters hold my CZ pistols just fine. I would think the leather ones are a bit more flexible than the kydex when using them for different pistols

I use P-01 holsters, both kydex and leather, for my PCR and P-01......there isn't really any "wobble" or looseness.......nearly all the snug-ness is done by the mid part of the frame of the gun.
