CZ 452 Trainer 17HMR Question
« on: July 29, 2016, 12:36:27 PM »
So this is an inquiry more than anything.

So I have this rifle that I bought new back in 06, and I have never shot it.  I have considered selling it on multiple occasions, but I never see a market for them on gunbroker or anywhere else really.  So my question is....is there a market for them, or is it something that I will likely have to find a permanent spot for in my safe?

There is a market for them in the right place.  Some like HMR and some like WMR.  When the ammo scare was on, it was almost, and probably was cheaper to reload 223 or some other type of small centerfire ammo.

An auction sight has one that they are selling in an auction tomorrow.  Missing the rear sight and has a cheap scope and set of rings.  Thought about going to check it out as I would like to have a CZ HMR, but probably won't have the time to.

If you like it, keep it.  If not, send it to me and I will put it to good use....... ;)

If you never shot it and are not planning on shooting it what are you keeping it for? Sell it and get something you'll use.

I have a 452 American 17M2 that I use to shoot a lot. Now it sits a lot. I have tried selling it but then it goes to the range and I'm in love again; the trigger is awesome, it's accurate, and there is no recoil. Sure I have to jump on ammo when it's available and pay .18/rnd, but it's worth it. Yes, I shoot my 22 a lot more.
