Love the style look and can't wait to shoot it.
Just wondering if the price is about right.

Welcome to the club. Not sure how to total your receipt, but you could check Buds, Tombstone Tactical, or Gunbroker to get a ballpark idea on prices.

I paid $650 something just over a year ago.

I would have too. But it was a one time deal, dept Mgr didn't know why it came in at that price but that is what he had to sell it at. 
My 13 and soon to be 8 yr old loved it.

$241! New In Box! That is less than Aus$320 at today's exchange rate. I know I'm in Aussieland but I paid Aus$1670 for a new Varmint Walnut in .223 a couple of years ago. Add licence noting fee of Aus$170 plus scope and rings, bipod etc and I've got close to Aus$2500 in that rifle. I'll say it's a good price. Enjoy.

Congratulations, I just joined the CZ 527 Carbine club too, in .223

I paid $617 for mine, 5% off list of $649.

Couldn't be happier, hope to take it out at the range this weekend!
