Been lurking here for several months, slowly accumulating knowledge and building a list of supplies and components.  Noticed that Amazon is selling the highly-recommended RCBS 505 scale for $49 +5 S/H.  Great deal for a (p)re-loader like me who is starting to buy equipment, or for anyone looking to add a quality scale.

I went with the cheapy LEE scale for too long before I finally got a quality balance beam scale. 
You'll be happy with that one ,  especially at that price.

Yep, had been tracking the regular price at $99 for a few weeks, then saw it drop suddenly to $49.  There were 5 in stock a that price when I posted, but they went quick.

I'll also add that I got these inexpensive checkweights from Amazon for $5 ... currently out of stock, but worth saving the link and checking back, as the closest comparable thing I could find was the Lyman set of checkweights for ~$25.
