Hi Cap Magazines
« on: February 08, 2002, 08:08:41 AM »
I've been told(dont know if its true, neither the guy who told me) that Cz produced originally 15 round magazines for Kadet...
              Has anyone heard about that?
Has anyone knows, or even tried to modify a mag to hold more rounds? Is it possible to build a double column for a .22(seems hard, since the rim of the cartridge is too large)? Here we have not the hi cap ban... :)  (but its hard to get a license to calibers larger than .25ACP or .32s(revolver)
            Thank you

Fusca, I have seen a full size cadet magazine in one of their advertisements that did not have the plastic base extension.  I think it was the 1998 or 1999 Catalog.  I would think this was probably a hi cap but can't be sure.  Since you are not in the U.S., you may be able to contact CZ in Europe and see if they have a military high cap training magazine for sale outside of the U.S.  mapdude

Take a look at the Kadet on this page.  The mags are not plastic bottom like the new ones. pdmall.com/CZC/pistol~1.htm
