97B Trigger Reset Points
« on: August 08, 2016, 06:40:41 PM »
Just installed the CGW Pro Package for the manual safety.  Setting the reach reduction trigger I had something I hadn't seen before happen.  There appears to be two different trigger reset points.  When I dry fire the pistol and feel the DA reset point I set the reset screw.

However, when I went to the range and actually shot the pistol, the DA reset point was a bit farther back.

Has anybody else ever experienced this?  I have not adjusted the set screw farther forward to shorten the reset yet to see what happens.  The pistol fires just fine.

Just spoke with David at CGW.  After shooting the pistol one side of the trigger bar spring had popped out of it's channel and was basically sticking between the trigger bar and the gun frame.  After some spring tension adjustments both sides of the springs are riding smoothly in their channels.   Will see if the springs stay in place after the next range trip.
