Just smaller.  I have a full size 75 and a RAMI.  What's special about the compact? :)
Albuquerque, NM (although not really NEW, not really MEXICO!)

Not sure if there is anything special about the RAMI. I call it a baby 75. ?  Shoots just as well as my 75.

Not sure if I would call it any more "special" then the other CZs, but it surely isn't less special lol. My thing with it is due to the size and feel of it is just something, for lack of a better wording, special lol.

It's a shooter for a sub compact!

Doesn't look bad either with a little customization!

It's not the end all be all of carry guns but it fits me pretty well. I will say I have been tempted to pick up the P-01 or a 225-A1 to replace it. Nothing wrong with it, I just like to change things once in a while. I've got about 3K rounds through this one,had about 4 FTF. But all with my reloads. Never any problems with factory ammo.

I just recently aquired a P-01 and a Sig P225A1. The P-01 shoots very well for me and my wife, have not had a chance to shoot the P225 yet. They are both very nice handguns and if I had to choose one, it would be a difficult decision. The Sig may have a slightly better trigger release but very slightly and especially the SA pull. For the difference in cost, the P-01 would probably be my choice if I had to choose just one. I am really wanting to try the RAMI but no more funds. Just my opinions.

Thanks for the offer, very kind of you. Unfortunately, I am not close enough to accept as I live in TN. BTW, I cannot imagine moving from VA to FL which is a great place to visit but I would not want to live there.

I am from there and more than thrilled to move back. As with most any state it all depends on the area you live in. I'll be surrounded by national Forrest but 15 minutes from everything, including a shooting club, beaches, and anything else you can think of.

I certainly agree that it depends on the area, to a certain extent. I moved from Montana so not use to high humidity with high temps. I do some bird photography so would enjoy spending some time in FL for that, at the right time of year. It is good that we all have our preferences where to live, I wish many would prefer some other place than here to live. :)

LOL I hear you on that brother!!!!

I wish the Northerners would stay put, stop moving down here! Driving up the costs of living and causing issues lol.

Seriously though, yeah usually wherever you grow up you love.  I cant think of a better place to live although I ALWAYS said I wanted to move to Montana or Colorado when I retire, have a ranch house with a stream running trough the back yard and a mountain range in the backdrop.

Now you are talking, I did not have a stream in the back yard but I could stand on my deck and see three mountain ranges, two in Montana and one in Wyoming. I should have never let my wife talk me into moving to TN.  BTW, I grew up in south MS and would never consider living there again.

The Midwest dream might happen in my old retirement days. Definitely s good chance. I'm only 28 and I'm sick of people already. I prefer solitude.

Nothing special until you recognize that 15 rounds with an ultimately concealable 3" barrel (see Thread: Invisible 15 round RAMI http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=81829.msg600234#msg600234 ) represents an industry-best combo; PLUS night sights, PLUS decocker DA/SA functionality, PLUS legendary CZ ergonomics (at least with the forward-hooking extended mag), PLUS CZ accuracy and reliability, PLUS safe "strong thumb rest pad" forward of the decocker lever, PLUS perfect (with irresistably "chunky" real gun feel) balance, PLUS 7075 T6 aluminum frame (soft shooter, durability).  Its nearest competitors (just for the combo of 3" barrel and high capacity) are plastic-framed (i.e., NOT soft-shooting), high bore center fatboys.

My CZ 97 BD feels more like a single stack, with its narrower slide and grips, but they had to put the requisite slide inertia (for easy racking, soft-shooting CZ 75 reliability) somewhere, and compared to its competitors the CZ 2075 RAMI BD is easily the most concealable high capacity subcompact option.

Also, after handling the RAMI BD, nothing else feels anywhere near as "right" and although a still-less-than-one-year CPL Newbie, I've handled a fair number of pistols so far.

PS- I love my RAMI BD!  I bought it sight unseen on layaway based on web research and wow am I happy with my choice!

This review was perhaps the kicker, after lots of trigger reach image comparisons, etc.:

Like PappaWheelie I too bought my RAMI BD sight unseen based on reviews and lurking on this Forum. That was back in 2013. Buying the RAMI was one of my best purchases and it would really take a lot to get me to part with it. Mine feeds anything from cheap RN FMJ steel cased ammunition to Hydra-Shoks and HST's. Really accurate and soft shooting.
