I've never seen one in person but the pictures make it look like the trigger on the P01 omega is polymer?

I've been looking for months for a P-01 Omega either new or used and haven't had any luck on gun broker or the local gun shows. Is anyone aware of 1 in stock?

Aceman, I was in the same boat as you.  I got lucky and was in right place at right time.  Keep your eyes out and one will eventually pop up for you, good luck!

ace...i'd given up as i had been searching for months and barely found the regular p-01 online (sku 91199) at deguns.net and was about the pull the trigger.  by sheer luck and switching my search engine from google to bing...a texasguntrader listing popped up listed just the day prior for an omega as i was just about committed to buying the regular p-01 online.  anyway, try gun corps LLC.  apparently, one of the guys there have a cz insider.

Thanks for the tip. I almost bought the Urban Grey one from deguns, but really wanted a back one without the threaded barrel. I have In Stock notifications on a dozen websites. I wanted 5 months to find my shadow and an In Stock notification from CZ Custom is how i scored one.

You'll laugh but Darth Vader and his red light sabre came to mind when I made the decision...black and red just screams mean...and we all know what a badass mfer he was.   Kidding aside...I plan on dotting my mag plates red...they actually shipped with a toothpick to do do, so was another factor in deciding.  I'm ordering the blackened plates that ppdbillet does and the polished plates will likely go on the 75b high polished stainless I'm working on.

HOW easy is it to detail strip and polish the trigger bar, etc.?  I know the DA on these can be a bit stiff and gritty.  How are they when broken in?  Any trouble getting a super accurate DA shot from it?  Thanks.

I'm still searching for one...I  must have 50 email notifications setup online for when they do come in stock. Surprising I can't even find a used on.

field strip is easy...DA is as you'd expect stiff.  my omega isn't that stagy on DA as some mention and is getting smoother as i break it in.  i understand the DA concern but never really shoot DA.  when i'm at the range i chamber and just shoot SA...never decock to DA although obviously for conceal carry and self defense you'll be decocked....or not.

I found one last week at a gun show in South Florida.  It was the first time I had seen one in the wild in a while.  I carry one often (it rotates with my P 07) but mine is from 2006 and does not have the Omega system.  In any event, I did a double take.  The price was $1235.00!!  I had to check again on the website for MSRP, which is $675, I believe.  Bone stock at twice MSRP, must be a lot of demand.
