Hi Folks...New guy here.  MidwayUSA has the factory 922r stock kits available for $199.95.  I ordered one yesterday as soon as I received their notification.

Hope this helps!

Discontinued?  What does that mean exactly for those who want to add a factory folding stock to their scorpion?   Will they be released in some other fashion or not at all?   That sounds very odd.

From what I have heard from the local GS, they are discontinuing the kits because alot of companies are making parts that help satisfy the 922r compliance. It seems as though they will continue to make and sell the stocks.

Correct. The parts will be sold separately.

They announced no new orders for 922 kits.
They would fill backorders and the individual parts would be available starting mid-October.

It will be interesting to see what the price of stocks will be seeing as some triggers go for thirty dollars and disconnectors go for 50$ (which my 922r kit one snapped and was replaced with a to-be-tested better quality one). I personally liked the kit despite the base plate ad follower issue due to the fact that it kept the same aesthetics and allowed it to be within regulations.

Got my stock installed.  Can anyone comment if yours has any slight play in it when extended?

Does the magnet come into full contact with the receiver when folded?   Mine doesn't appear to want to go all the way flush unless I force it.  It seems slightly out of alignment.   The mounting plate is all the way down but when folding it looks like the cuts they've made in the stock to allow clearance for the receiver don't exactly line up with the mag well, sling mounting point, etc.  Normal?

You can see the difference between folding it naturally and forcing it flush here:  http://imgur.com/a/yHaQ7
