2 things you never want to hear when you pull the trigger:

"click" when you expect it to go "bang" and

"bang" when you expect it to go "click"

HBI, are you planning on releasing an extended charging handle made of polymer to use with your handrails?

@KevGuillot - Yes, we are working on and will be releasing a polymer charge handle. We are looking at the Jan/Feb time frame for a release date :-)

I'm happy with mine. With the eventual release of the polymer finger rest for the charging handles, I won't be going back to the stock one :D

Do any of you guys running the hbi handguard notice that the rail on the HBI handguard doesn't not line up perfectly with the polymer one on the CZ? The rail on the HBi sits a tad higher on mine...not sure if this is normal for these handguards.

Never had this issue with AR freefloats....

The parts that I will install on my Scorpion are: The HBI pistol length hand guard, Magpul Zhukov folding handle and HK 3-lug adapter. I have already gone through the trigger and other items, and let's just say, I am a big fan of HB Industries, though have sourced other items from Shooter's Elements, Yeti, and CZ Custom; working toward 922r compliance.

As soon as I get my Form 1 approval, e-filed 16 June 2016, I will begin the install/conversion.

I have a Silencerco Octane 45HD can in jail until the Form 4 approval is obtained, filed 3 July 2016.

Just waiting for the other shoe to drop at the BATFE..... I am guesstimating to see the Form 1 stamp in  Jan/Feb 2017, with the Form 4 stamp in April/May 2017. If it is sooner, that would be great, but who knows....?

Good luck to everyone.

Mine is dead on.  If anything, it might be a fraction of a mm low.  Not enough to notice unless you lay a straight pencil on top of the polymer rail and see a little light between the pencil and the handguard.  With the slight differences in stacking tolerances, I'm surprised it's so close.

Mine sits a bit low - not a huge amount but enough for my OCD to kick in:

HBI

How much longer is the carbine hand guard than the pistol length?  I want to run the stock length pistol barrel, HK 3 lug and my Omega 9 K can and want to know how much can will stick out of the carbine hand guard.

Anyone have a picture of a K cut barrel with the pistol length handgaurd with a suppressor attatched? I'm really wanting to go this route but would like to see how it looks first.
