Can anyone spot my PCR PRO change?
« on: September 14, 2016, 12:44:33 PM »
I made a slight change to my PCR. What is it? First right answer gets to go out and buy stale donuts. I'll post photos later of change measurements, but for now.....

Looks like you changed out the hammer and rear sights, added the VZ Frags.  Trigger guard looks slightly more rounded, too.

The hammer was replaced by David with the Pro package. I changed to the CZC trits and changed the plug out some months back. Keep looking.....

Tritium sights, CGW hammer, firing pin roll pin, trigger, trigger pin, grip, stainless grip screws...hmmm, not sure what else it could be!

Grasping at straws
- recontoured the front strap

Is that a slide release from a Shadow?

Close it's a P-01 and a close enough guess to be a winner

Yay!!!! :D

Would you accept a slightly bruised peach in lieu of stale donutz?

Nice rig, btw.  I'm waiting on a PCR, too.  Does the new slide release improve it?

No, any reward is yours alone unless it's a peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream!!!!

As far as improving it, no just slightly easier to reach with short thumb. I still have to "wear" it in mechanically.

Very nice pistol; the slide release looks like a good mod.  I will end up with something very similar, except I am planning on using LOK "mayhem" grips

I just devoured said peach, and it was quite juicy!  Always a "good un" when you have to keep wiping your chin.

Nice!  My next guess was going to be the slide.  It looks like it's off a steel-framed CZ 75 Compact (thumb safety).  If it's a PCR, shouldn't it look like mine?  Or, is yours an older model, doc?
