A friend of mine swears by TRex holsters. They can be built for plain pistols or pistols with any combination of lights/lasers, suppressor height sights, optical sights and extended threaded barrels. He has a P-07 UG but TRex makes holsters for the P-09 also.

Glad to see you here haha, welcome to the CZ world, officially!

I just got my TREX Raptor holster for my Gen 2 regular P07 yesterday. Tried it out AIWB all day yesterday, still getting use to it. The sight channel looks large enough to accommodate suppressor sights.  On a side note, I bought an extra "Raptor Claw" and put it on my Alien Gear Tuck 2.0 to try AIWB as well, must say, not a bad option at all. Kind of wish I just bought the "Claw" first, would have saved $68.

How's the raptor holding up for you? I'm wanting to try AIWB carry and a friend recommended that I try that one.

I've carried in a light-bearing raptor daily for almost a year now and it is as good as new.

I did switch out the clip for one of the new Bravo Concealment clips and I added velcro to the back and use a Dr. Scholls heel pad - both have been solid improvements.

I can post some pics later if you like...

That would be awesome. I think I've narrowed it down to the raptor or possibly the Clearwater Tactical Triton. The Triton doesn't have the raptor claw, but it's a bit less cost-wise.

Ok - I'll follow up with some pics in a bit.

I will say that the claw is the standout feature - after using it I would not consider a holster without one ;-)

Does it work well in positions other than AIWB carry?

It would depend on your expectations, I'd say. The design allows you to remove the claw and use the supplied QuickClip (to get a bit of a cant) for strong side carry. For me that was a "fallback" feature I thought I might need, as I was moving back to appendix after a year of carrying behind the hip with another gun, but I never even needed to try it. ;-)

Here are pics. My holster and mag carriers are done up in MAS Gray kydex... kind of a brown/gray mix which complements the Urban Gray of my CZ rather well I think.

The blue rubber pad is a Dr. Scholls gel heel pad. I found it a little more low profile than a foam wedge and cheaper to replace. It aids with comfort.

The black wing is a claw that lines up under your belt to tuck in the butt of the gun as you tighten up your belt. Works extremely well.

How comfortable is it to go from standing to sitting while wearing that IWB in the appendix position ?

No issues for me. I wear my holster as high as it will go and it rides in the pelvic crease, shifting up slightly when I sit. The longer length of the holster (due to the X300) actually makes it ride more comfortably for me.

I will add that I've had better luck with larger guns/longer holsters - the shorter guns (I carried a G19 and an XDs this way at different times) tended to dig into my groin and try to roll out away from my belt line.

Fine but let me see you carry that appendix with a weaponlight ;-) Mission drives gear choice, as they say.

If my requirements allowed I might would have a simpler carry setup, although after carrying this for a year (and a similarly equipped HK VP9 behind the hip for a year prior) I barely notice it anymore unless I get my mag carriers on wrong and they dig into my hip LOL

I've grown to really like having the WML and RMR on my carry gun.

The thread protector on the barrel protrudes slightly... I'd say unshielded.

I was initially concerned about that but have had no issue with it. I don't get burned when reholstering during longer range sessions and the slightly shorter holster is (I imagine) more comfortable than if it fully covered things.
