And the one shown on the CZC page is CZ095xxx. As one will notice by looking at current CZUB production, all their firearm models appear to share the same serial number sequence unlike the old days with a different model having its own numbering sequence. This current range will give you an idea of overall production and proofing going on at CZUB for a general period for all models and makes it difficult to identify the production run total for a specific model. It's still an interesting exercise to see.
I thought that was how the serial numbers worked. So to be clear for others and to verify I understand correctly as well. Let's say CZ UB has 10 manufacturing lines up and running today. Today they are producing 2,000 total serialized items (to keep it simple for the example serial numbers 80,000 to 82,000). Today 300 of the SP-01 Compacts will be finished within those 2,000 daily serialized items. So, they will get one of those serial numbers, sequentially, as they reach that point in production today.
This is opposed to saying that 1,600 SP-01 Compacts were produced in total. Therefore, they got serial numbers 80,000 through 81,600. Am I correct that this is NOT how it works, and the first example is the way serial numbers are assigned in CZ UB production?
