Got to shot 100 rds today and they worked/felt great. Nice grip, felt nice in the hand, no issues.

Really need to ditch those philips head screws but just finding it hard to pay $14 for a pair of torx head ones...

This might be a better option especially if you buy several pairs to spread out the cost of shipping.

The torx screws or allen screws for grips are great, until you're at a match and have one come loose. Then the chances someone has the exact tool for it becomes a bit challenging, just something to consider Otherwise, if it's not for a match pistol and just to customize go for it.

out of curiosity do we know the recoil spring weight on these bad boys? are they using the same 17 lb recoil spring the P-01 and PCR use or a harder 18 or 20 lb spring ?? (just perusing for extra parts since springs and the like are always handy to have in the range bag)

Purple or blue locktite and then you're should be good to go...

I'm running a 14 lb recoil spring in mine.

Same here. I only put the stock recoil spring back in there when I am shooting personal defense loads or hot loads for practice. The stock recoil spring has worked with some pretty soft loads I have run, but it is really meant for powerful loads. You're fingers will thank you the moment you rack the slide for the first time with a 14 lb recoil spring in there.

Nope. Just don't shoot really hot loads without the OEM spring back in there. Plastic guide rods have more buffer that the Steel Guide rods, so the frame is more protected of you forgot answers shot a couple hundred rounds of +P ammo one day for fun.

nice, I'll probably grab a stock spring or two as a backup (I have two of these bad boys) but will prob through in a 14 lber as well since I only shoot factory standard loads like federal, speer, etc.... even my carry loads are standard pressure (I'm one who believes +P is over rated)

Hey all,
New here. Picked one of these up awhile ago and loving it. I read through most of the pages of this post, but hoping someone can answer a quick question as I'm a little confused- which Stealthgear Ventcore holster should I order for this?

Hoping to start carrying soon. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Been following this thread since Dec 2016. Missed out on buying one of these when czcustom had these on sale for $529 i think. Would have bought one at full price last month until I managed to grab a P01 Omega from grabagun last month. :)

I'm still definitely eyeing one of these "SP-01 Compacts" to add to my stable.

Does anyone who where the best deals for these are currently?

Thanks!
