Hi Dear All,
I'm looking for some info about using a Barnes TSX 235 grains lead free bullet instead of the "usual" 300 grains lead bullet.
In my humble opinion, the 235 grs lead free should have the same shape of the 300 grs lead one and I shouldn't have too many problems to find the right reload spec and consequently the right flatter trajectory than with the 300 grs.
Does someone has experienced this?
I would be very interested to learn how good these experiences have been.
I have a ZKK 602 in .375 H&H Mag
Thanks in advance to everyone who will take care about my question.
Bes Regards
sandro

I haven't use TXS or TTSX bullets in a 375H&H but have had very good results with 100gr TTSX 25caliber bullets from my 25-06 and the 80gr version from my 250 Savage. For Pronghorn and Mule deer, I've used the 100gr loaded over a near max charge of Reloader 19 for 3300fps +- 15FPS. Penetration and expansion are roughly the the same as a conventional 120gr bullet. Accuracy is excellent and the trajectory is flatter than 120gr loads. I've also used the 130gr TSX from a 270Win with great results, the only problem was the petals breaking off when I hit a large Mule deer at very close (35 yards) range.

A good friend uses the 350gr TSX out of his 416 Ruger, he's taken Cape Buffalo, Sable, Wildebeest, Zebra, and Greater Kudu with no problems.
