Made by Canik 55 in Turkey, these were formerly imported directly by Century Arms International.

Currently, the closest version of this Pistol is imported by TriStar Arms, as the P100.  http://www.tristararms.com/products/semi-automatic-pistols/p-100-pistols/

In general, the Canik 55 made Cz Clones are very well made, accurate, reliable, and durable.
I have the TriStar/Canik T120, which has been an excellent handgun, so far.

Have you ever shot a 55? I have a Tristar P120, which is a great gun for the $. Your T120 is on my wish list as well :)

Have a Canik 55 S-120. Over 2000 rounds through with no problems at all. One of the best full-sized hammer fired pistols I have ever owned at any price. Don't think you can go wrong. My only concern is access to parts. I am hoping that Tri-Star will sell them to me should I ever need them.

CZ steel frame guns with a rail and ambi safeties are available. Looks just like a P01 only no decocker.

It's an all steel gun so it's heavy. Many CZ parts will interchange, mine has an 85 Combat trigger.
Weight is the only downside I can see.

Empty Weight of the Stingrays and P100 run about 2.3 lbs.  The Aluminum Alloy Framed T100 runs about 1.64 lbs, empty.  http://www.tristararms.com/products/semi-automatic-pistols/t-100-pistols/

My problem is that I like them all.

Weight used to not be a consideration for me, and I used to run around with a full size .45 Witness, stashed in a Don Hume IWB holster.
Then I got spoiled by all of the lightweight Poly Framed Handguns I later acquired.

Just looked.  They now show "OUT OF STOCK"

If buying new, the closest you can get to one would be the TriStar P100.
