For HD/Range use, the rubber grips are excellent. If you want something thinner but still grippy, VZ or LOK grips have you covered with several patterns/colors in G10.
For sights, you're kind of limited - unfortunately that's the nature of the beast. There are definitely more grip options out there than sight options. Meprolight tritium, CZC tritium, Truglo TFX (though these may change POI since they are not designed for the compacts, IIRC), and CGW/CZC fiber optic front/blackout rear. Personally I like the Mepros - the CZC tritiums are nice but the dots are small and they are kind of pricey.
Lights - stick to the proven stuff - surefire or streamlight. Personally I prefer the TLR-1 because of the smaller footprint of the light and you still get good run time with either 300 (Standard or S) or 800 (HL) lumens. Lots of people run the X300 and swear by it - for me I prefer the X300 on a carbine.
The P01 is a fine pistol - enjoy!
