That's horrendous. Do they have enough stock to trade that out for one that's not scratched?

That's the dilemma, not dealing with a common pistol like a M&P lol. I emailed Tombstone but I won't hear back until tomorrow during their normal hours. Maybe they'll give me a couple dollars back? Who knows.

I would hope CZ would refinish the slide or exchange guns with you. That would be a few weeks on the refinish or possibly more weeks on an exchange. How disappointing to finally find one in stock, only to have it show up in the shape it's in. Maybe Cerakote it and make it two-tone?

I picked up the 97B tonight. Bummed that it had marks on the slide from what appears to be the trigger lock that punctured through the foam on the top portion of the case:

i think i can explain the shortage:

1-its a CZ, we love and crave and cant get enough
2- its in .45.  people love and crave and cant ge enough of that either!
3- trump is the 45th prez, what better way to celebrate than gifting yourself a new cz?!

I got an email from Gallery of Guns today at 6:30 p.m. that said they had a 97B in stock. We were out to eat. By they time I checked around 7:45 their stock was back to zero. Maybe the 97bs are starting to show up again, for those that have been looking. I'm glad I got one in October when I did. They've been basically sold out at the places I look at since then.

Turner's Outdoorsman in SoCal had at least one last night in the Orange store.  Website shows not available so not sure if it sold and was the last one but they've had them for a while.  The on line list may not match up to store stock or at least that seemed the case when I found my RAMI at a Turner's.  They had a printed list they were referring to so the on line list may be warehouse stock and the print list a fairly current store list?  Might be worth calling them.  They aren't, btw, a discount house by any means, though.

I picked up a used 97BD yesterday, I had been looking for several months and found this one on backpage so I jumped on it for 600, has night sights, looks and shoots perfect.

I just bought a 97b last night from hinterlandoutfitters.com.  It was $649.99, plus a reasonable $9.99 for shipping.

I bought it around 9:30pm, and just got notice at 12:18am (automated, I assume...) saying that they had my FFL on file so I didn't need to send that along.  Then, got an email at 11:23 this morning saying that the gun has shipped and included the USPS tracking number.  So far, great communication and quick service!

I was debating between getting a P09 or a P07, and then stumbled on this shop having a 97b and just jumped on it.  Don't see to many of them around, and have always wanted one...  I loaded up a bunch of 200gr SWC this past weekend, so I'm excited to get my hands on it to see what it can do!!

If anyone is interested, I checked this morning and hinterland outfitters was still showing the 97b "in stock...". Good luck!   :o

I purchased a California compliant 97b at RifleGear in Fountain Valley CA today (July 6), $679 with free shipping on orders over $499. After my purchase their site still shows 10+ in stock.
