Dang. I was hoping the correction would be on the filing date, not the calculation. First I've seen at 7 months but I guess that's the effect of the surge.

Well hopefully the "Hearing Protection Act" will get its day before the american people and will speed things up by removing suppressors from under the purview of the NFA.  This should have a double whammy effect by speeding up SBR applications as well.

With his son's involvement and interest in suppressors and other NFA items I'd be surprised if the HPA didn't get some additional traction and make its passage a very real possibility. See this video as evidence. Silencer discussion starts at 32:15, specific discussion around HPA at 36:30.
