VtMacDoc, some Questions/comments that came to mind:
1) Burrs were mentioned. Regardless of cleaning rod brand, do you use a bore guide that could keep rod centered and straight down the bore?
2) I could ask more questions about cleaning process; however, do use a wet patch before using a bore brush? I am reserving some questions but may want to know if you use patches and what do you do when the patch exits the barrel on first pass out the end of the barrel.
3) Regardless of patch or brush passes, does the rod "feel" any rough spots? IF so, when?
4) If you use patches, do you use very tight patches making passes hard to push down the barrel?
5) Also, maybe not too important to you right now but I know the Pro-Shot name regarding rod attachments. I do not have a Pro-Shot rod but I have to be careful the diameter of patch jag (metal) for different calibers. From my Lazy-Boy chair, I can't tell what causes marks on your rod. I will not bill you for my comments. I said that because I gave some trap shooting tips to a lady surgeon and I told her that there is "no charge". I told her that she needed help and she smiled but also laughed at my comments.
Let me know if I can cause more confusion but I was looking for more input. More data was needed, I think. Don't worry when my sarcasm or my sense of humor sneaks out.
How does that Ultra Lux shoot and group when the operator works okay?
DeltaGray off Subject for now but don't send a big net to catch me.
