What is the name of that Texas store????
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

So if one of the biggest CZ dealers in Texas only got one in so far I wonder how long before my much lower volume CZ LGS will get one?  :-[

From my understanding, LEO guns have a heavier trigger, or is that just a myth?

flattus, only in New York City that I can recall - our issue sidearms have standard triggers in them. ;) NYC requires an insane heavy trigger, partially to blame for the 9 innocent bystanders that got injured in the Empire State Building shooting a few years ago, IIRC.

I placed an order with my LGS who said his distributor has it on backorder. So guess I'll have to keep enjoying my budget FNS9 in the meantime. Hoping it'll be weeks and not months

I just bought a P-07 Urban Gray Suppressor Ready just one week before news of the P-10.  I had been planning on the P-07 for nearly a year, and placed an order with Eric at HBE Leatherworks for a Com III so I would have leather when I got my P-07.  I gotta say, I'm VERY happy with my P-07...but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to have the P-10.

Now personally when it comes to handguns for self defense of me and mine, I don't trust ANYTHING that hasn't been on the market for more than 5 years, because even the absolute best in the business make mistakes.  Literally every big name maker has introduced handguns that were found to have significant issues later on.  Typically it takes many people pushing the pistol very hard and in very unconventional ways.  That or some large LE or Military agency will push it hard and find a flaw.

I have to say, CZ tends to have the least issues for a brand new pistol of any maker I know...but they're not immune.  So I'm happy to let others beta-test the P-10 while I enjoy the heck out of the P-07.

For those who just have to have the latest and greatest, please keep us in the loop.  I'm VERY INTERESTED in hearing how this pistol performs, and what people's impressions are.

Respectfully disagree, I have purchased Glocks, Sigs, failures right out of the box (a Gen 3 Glock 23 ans Sig 2022) of proven designs.  Doesnt take five years for a gun to prove itself.  Now certain new designs might generally have flaws but guns are mechanical, a proven design can fail as well as an unproven design can succeed.  Waiting of course is your perogitive but a waste IMO, especially if a gun is desired.  I will of course buy one and shoot the piss out of it, lets see how good or bad this gun is.

With that said, I recently purchases a new AR, the Saint.  New AR but nothing of a game changing design and it failed after 210 rounds but thats is why I put any new gun through it paces.

Hes a bit off on his trigger review on the PPQ. Feels like a bought and paid for review IMHO.
