Pics are always fun to look at....the top one is a newest completed project....decided to name them, why not  ::)  All have been disassembled, stripped/refinished, and have upgraded internals and externals......I kinda like having something unique that no one else has  :)

Thanks, these are kind-of addictive......its fun to try and come up with different ideas on how to make each of them unique, so in that light I do have an idea for my next one.......more to come  ;)  The internals are equally nice/upgraded for each, though slightly different due to one being a 75 BD and the other a 75 Pre-B (Transitional).

That looks outstanding. Would you be willing to do a tutorial thread on this?

Rust bluing has been explained in a couple excellent threads started by SP01SHADOW. Several people here have been inspired by his work. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=76199.0

My thoughts as well.....I am one of the "inspired", with my own twist thrown in  :)

I get a lot of satisfaction out of knowing I helped someone take on a project and it has a great ending. Anyone can box up a gun and send it off to be refinished but there is a special feeling about doing one yourself. There is a lot of work involved in taking an old beat up CZ and making it look better than new and that is the reason they can sell for more than a thousand dollars when finished. CZ Custom has been doing some great looking Mil Surp lately with all the mods but you won't buy one cheap and rightly so. I appreciate the kind words very much. The only reason I take the time to document these projects is to bump someone off the fence and get them going on a DIY project. I enjoy these better than doing one of my own so I not only thank you for the words but also for sharing your experience with us all. This is the best forum on the internet and it was made that way from the great people who are members.

Those are both absolutely amazing!  If I come across a good donor, I'm gonna have to try this.
