Edit with new pictures: i just brought home my new SP 01 Shadow and I am just beaming with pride at this bundle of joy.
I have watched numerous videos on this firearm and it feels so good in my hand. I am using it to shoot USPSA. I couldn't wait around for the Shadow 2 With uncertainty when I could get it. So I realize this gun isn't perfect out of the box. I noticed the DA trigger is smooth yet still heavy. I used my trigger gauge and it was higher than my gauge goes (ends at 8 lbs). The SA was about 4. I am going to get the competition hammer. For you USPSA shadow shooters what other mods would you recommend?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing your advice.
(Edit)
Ok so I got some work done on my Shadow. All from Cajun Gun Works. I got the 12 pound recoil spring, T1 disconnector, reduced power trigger return spring, competition hammer with ultra lite spring kit (13 pound). Also got the s-spacer seat spacer, two hammer pins and the floating trigger pin.
I got the blue aluminum grips from CZ-USA and not pictured I got 6 blue base pads from Springer Precision. (3 for CZ 18 round mags and 3 for 17 round mecgar mags. )
My gunsmith, Randy (from Mechanicsburg Ordnance) also took the averages of 5 trigger pulls in DA and SA and photographed it.
Have a holster on order from Red Hill Tactical to round out my gear (already have a ghost rig from Ben Stoeger Pro shop).
