Loaded 50 more at 4.3 gr. I payed more attention on making sure I pressed the handle all the way forward to seat the primer. All 50 fired flawlessly, I'm a happy man.

Congrats ! I know it feels good.

Next time try some Winchester primers. Since they aren't as stout, they seat much easier.

How else may we help ?

Since you asked, out of 150 that I loaded today I had 3 that didn't pass the plunk test. What would be the cause of this, this is the first time this has happened. I am using range brass, all with WINN head stamps.

Plunk test in what ? Your barrel or your cartridge gauge ?

With range brass you just never know. Some ejectors and extractors gouge up the rims, keeping them from plunking. Usually the reason is fairly evident.

I simply put those blems in my practice pile. The perfect ones go in the competition pile.

One tiny correction for Wobbly.  "the PERFECT" ones go in the Bullseye or A-Zone at 25 Yards and beyond. :P
