Can't Find Video Posting Info
« on: January 17, 2017, 12:27:15 PM »
I've been going crazy trying to find video posting tips that I'm sure I've seen on here before - can't find it after trying many different search terms using the forum search, trying google, etc.

Could somebody post a link to this info? I wanted to post a short video of my range time with my P-07.

One more question - can you put a video and a picture in the same post?

:o Let the ridicule begin :o

Uploading it to youtube is one option, then you just copy the entire URL into the forum post.

Videos and pictures should be able to be in the same post.

Examples: the video is a copied youtube URL and the picture below it is from the picture host i use called Imgur.com. If you hit the quote button on my post you can see the code/URL's i used to post these.

There's no instructions because all you need to do is paste the link to where it's hosted and the forum software does it automagically for most videos. ;)

Pics just need the [img] tags to the link where it's hosted.

You can't upload either directly from your computer.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

Tok36, I try this but when I go to preview the post it just shows a link not the actual video.

I see in other people's posts the actual video - just trying to figure that out. (Unless the preview function only shows the link . . hmmmm?)

Preview may not work for video try posting it then Modify the post if needed. Edit: ya i checked videos do not show up in preview, only the link shows in preview. You can use this thread to experiment.

Cool . . . thanks!

I guess I was doing it right all along. Just confused me a bit when I couldn't see the video in preview.
