New Inforce APL Compact and APL 400 Lumens!
« on: January 18, 2017, 10:57:00 AM »
After owning a majority of the popular weapon lights, I really appreciate the thinness of the Inforce APL for EDC.  While the Surefire XC1 was a great idea, the controls were poorly executed in my opinion.  I'm very excited about the upcoming APL 2.0 400 lumen weapon light and APL Compact 200 lumen weapon light.

woahhhhh.

Had no idea this was in the works. I've got an APL on my P-09 and would love to throw a compact on my P-01!

The second generation APL is great.

Going to give these a serious look.

Not weapon mounted, but the Streamlight Protac 2AAA is my benchmark for excellence.  Every day carry, mostly shirt pocket, did I mention 2 AAA batteries common as a sunrise and LED battery life/brightness balance.  Yes I occasionally carry a brighter 3 AAA tactical or a mounted TRLS but the Protac comes along too!

The original APL v2 fits the P-09 like a glove, flush with the barrel. Love the quality of the light and it's controls.
