125gr H&S bullets for use in CZ pistols

Hey guys was wondering if anyone has used HS bullets? They was a thread on enos forum which sold me on them, plus free shipping and no tax was just gravey vs the 65$ plus 10$ shipping and tax for Berry's bullets.

I used the HS 125gr 9mm bullets under 4.5 WSF in my CZ SP01 Shadow, Phantom and P01 and they are great, very accurate.  At this point I actually prefer them to the 125gr Blue Bullet RN I had been using because the coating is nicer and more uniform.  When I've shot up all my Blue Bullets I'll order some more HS.

You're comparing the price of plated bullets to coated/painted bullets. Isn't that an apples-to-oranges comparison ?

Why don't you compare the price of H&S to Blue Bullets or Missouri Bullet Co ??

Blue bullets is 0.006$ expensiver before shipping. x1000 so 6$ more.

Missouri is 70$ per 1000 plus shipping.

A lot of the guys up here in northern Utah shoot H&S since he is local to us. I got some rounds to test, but need to load them. But the guys at the matches who recommended them to me all say they shoot extremely well. At least one shoots an SP-01 Shadow.

Cool, yeah I should have them Saturday. Probably get a load made up in th next week or two, as I'm mooching off my buddies Dillion 550.

So far I'll probably just use them for practice ammo, until I'm comfortable with their function for matches. Probably would start buying by the 3500 then lol. 225 shipped ~another 0.005$ savings per bullet.

Sounds like these bullets are fairly consistent in size and coating in comparison to other manufacturers.

Apparently they use the Bayou Bullets coating. That's a plus in my book.

Make sure to plunk test for your pistol. Mine plunked shorter than I expected.

Use the 147s in a shadow and sp-01 both work well at 1.1 which is longer than I can do Montana gold 124's JHP.

Ordered a case.  Measured several, very consistent on length and weight, nearly half slightly undersized but they still get good accuracy with Prima V.  They plunk about 5 thousandths longer on my shortest throat CZ (75B) than the Acme 124s I was using for a while.  Pics of measurements and bullets, sounds like they are the same mold as the SNS 125 RNNLG

As a price comparison.... Rocky Mtn Reloading has their own plated 124gr RN for 7.9 cents in quantities of 3000.

Loaded up 500 of these with CFE pistol and federal small pistol primers. 4.4 gr and I'm at 128 Pf. Fired 100 so far, no issues but the smoke does smell a bit different than the plated bullets. Fairly easy to clean my bore still tho.
