For cheap fun, $169-$199, try the Star BM. I have 4 and love them.

For a bit high end check out the Rohrbaugh R9. Smallest, lightest 9mm EVER made. You can get them for $900-$1800. Only 6000 were made before they sold the design to Remington. Remington TRIED to build one for cheap but it didn't work. They now make the RM 380. Cheap copy.

Interesting AK variant originally for 5.45 than to be in 5.56. Never produced in any real numbers.
