I had sun problems yesterday. Florida + 1:30PM + Cloudless Sky = chrono problems. First string of the day only registered two shots, and I relocated to a spot in the shadow of a large tree. 12 strings later, the sun had moved, and I got some more direct sunlight on a sensor, and I lost 8 shots on another string. I will report the averages of those two 2-shot strings, but not the other data from those.

Well, my hope today was to shoot off of a rest, change targets every string, and assess accuracy at the same time. The need for me to relocate the chrono into a large tree's shadow ruined that plan, so I don't want to say
too much about accuracy at this point. Over the 18 strings (also shot 4 through VP9), I put up maybe 6 targets just to get look at single string on a clean target now and then, and everything looked good. I did get a few more flyers with the CZ than the VP9, but I shoot the VP9 much more than the CZ, and it was also offhand, not focused, different levels of effort on different strings, etc.. So... totally unscientific, and I don't want to draw conclusions. Also, when I say fliers, I'm not talking 6-inch fliers; I'm talking about a nice inch or inch and a quarter group with the bullets piling up, then a couple that land an extra inch away. It's the kind of thing where two strays will double or triple the size of a nice tight group, but in the grand scheme of things isn't going to put you points down or cause you to miss a plate. It's just frustrating.
In general, I'd say they did quite well with both pistols, but I will need to get them out from some real accuracy testing before I say anything certain there. Unfortunately, tomorrow I'll be leaving town for work for a week or two, so I don't know when that will be.
Overall, I was happy.
