Hello,

I just bought a P07 because of several factors, like the decocker, trigger, size, aesthetic etc. However, I'm a bit OCD about stuff on guns, especially things that break easily.

I am concerned on how often the trigger return spring breaks, is this a known common issue? I just field stripped it and put some Hopps lubrication on the TRS just now.
I wouldn't mind if it was for a range gun, but I not only plan to shoot this a lot but potentially conceal carry it.

How common is this issue and did the Gen 2 version fix it?

The thousands of people who own P-07s with TR springs that don't break never post about them.

So, no - it's not a common problem.

I don't have hard numbers but anecdotal evidence suggests this is still a concern with the Gen 2 if you shoot or dry fire a lot.

Fortunately it can easily be addressed by replacing the stock part with the CGW TRS. It has proven to be more robust.

I agree with s0nspark if the return spring makes you nervous. I've put hundreds of rounds though my P-07 and it's one of the most reliable pistols I've owned. I keep my P-07 in my night stand.

If you only shoot live ammo, I would be worried past 5k.  Get the CGW spring and solid pin.   It's probably 5 to 10x better.

Just got back from the range real quick.

Holy hell, am I a FAN! I have never been more accurate with a factory gun than this P07! I'll definitely buy one of the Cajun Gun Works TRS, the issue is do I replace it immediately or keep the stock for now?

My $0.02 ... replace now, keep the stock one as a spare.

FWIW it is also good to keep a spare slide stop on hand. That part takes a lot of abuse over time due to the way CZs are designed.

Both p09 and p07 have CGW trigger return springs and factory ones as spares.when you go racing. A little means a lot.

Never any issues with any of mine but you guys got me worried.

I just ordered CGW trigger return springs and firing pin roll pins for our P07s and P09s.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

That's what I ordered.  Four of them.  I've got two P09s and a P07 and my youngest son has a P07.

Wait are you talking about this? https://cajungunworks.com/product/61100-tempered-spring-steel-firing-pin-retaining-pin/

Do you need this as well?

Highly recommended, especially if you dry fire a lot.
