FORM 4 waiting time

Did your local SOT have these in stock, or was your wait time in addition to the F3 to transfer from the manufacturer to the dealer before you could start your F4?

They had it in stock, my wait was entirely on the form 4.

Seems like many of the form 1's I'm seeing are between 8 - 8 1/2 months.

I have one in purgatory since last July still.  They only got the serial number in the computer mid January.

I know I am in the system as both $200 fees went through the bank know I have 2-3 months left First time doing this how to check progress?

Will do Walther.  You do the same if you get yours first.  I'm hoping for maybe 4-6 more weeks and this will be behind me.

This is my 7th, and likely last stamp.  I didn't wait this long for my machinegun form 4, and that was right after Obama was elected the first time was less than 8 months then.  This is absurd

Will do John! My F1 went pending on 8-1 so I am banking on at least 6 more weeks. I am getting antsy but I know it will be well worth the wait.

And I hear ya on these time frames. Is quite ridiculous...really makes me not wanna do it again. I don't see any reason why SBR's and SBS's need to be NFA items anyways. If they hafta stay why can't we do a basic background check rather then this crap we gotta deal with now.

I Think the worst part of the whole wait is wondering if sumn is going to be messed up that will delay the whole process even more then what it is.

I am still waiting on a Form 1 submitted 6/22 and a Form 4 submitted on 7/7.  From what I am seeing on other boards, They are approving E-Filed Form 1's from 6/15 to 6/18 right now.

Yesterday early evening, got a call from my LGS to stop on by, indicating that my two Silencerco Silencers Form 4s had been approved 16 Feb 2017. Stopped by last night and picked them up, spent the rest of the evening becoming acquainted with them, taking them apart, cleaning them, etc...  WHOO HOO !!!  

Still have one more silencer to get out of ATF purgatory.  Good luck to all, your time will come, hopefully soon.

Congrats. I too have a Sparrow in purgatory, form4 submitted 5/31 so it shouldn't be too long after your 5/26 submissions.

Now you have some fun toys to play with while you wait on #3.  Not to make it any more anxious than it already is, but you will love the Rugged Surge.  I know that I do...great rifle can!

I just got my form 4 back today.... It was sent off on march 5th 2016
