While there are lots of beautiful pistols around, for my money I love the look of the CZ 75b and Hi-powers  ;D

Gotta go with 1SOW on the Python. 2nd would be older Dan Wesson revolvers.
  No, don't own either.

I concur about the Python.  Here's my 6" 1978 model.

Because the original walnut grips are worth $600-800 by themselves, they are locked away in my safe.  The one's on there now are Colt factory replacement grips that I got a few years ago.

Those Pythons sure are purdy!  I still have to go with a 1911.

CZs are great looking, but I think the two Walthers are the best looking, PP and P5

P38/P1 is one of my all-time favorites.  I found this 1968 Model 'Single Line' NIB back in December with the original box, owner's manual, cleaning rod, test target and two mags.  No import marks of any kind.  Original thin-slide that Walther later replaced with a thicker slide (at no cost to the owner) to enhance durability.  It's what I love about Walthers: all the oddball variations.

However, I must soon have the most expensive .22 made! It is not like I don'yt know how to take down the old MkII that I have had since the 80's, It is just that this is likely the ultimate evolution of the awesome Ruger pocket rifle!

With a $799 msrp, and street a bit less, I still have not found one since I took a pass on the one in my LGS before Christmas.

Billet Stainless lower is even more awesome than my Mk II.  Volquartsen trigger kits are now available as well, for that 2.5 lb sweet sweet feel!

Not something you want to buy and carry, but I think the Colt 1851 Navy is best looking handgun ever made.

BHP for me

This is my answer for pistol. For a revolver it's the 3 1/2 inch model 27 Smith & Wesson

  • Is it broken? Then why are you fixing it?

I've got quite a like for the ruger mk .22 pistols but they're pretty ugly in my opinion. Although a hunter with the fluted barrel is pretty sweet, I'd have to say my PacLite All Aluminum 22/45 is a hotter ticket to punch. I like it more than some, but not more than the case colored 1911.
Wife: Is it broken?
Me: No.
Wife: Then why does it need to be fixed?
Me: I knew you wouldn't understand.
Me: You're way smarter than I am babe.
Wife: Ok, so if it's not broken and not fixed, what exactly is it?
Me: It's taking time Hun. Just taking some time.
