Does anyone here actually have problems with their charging handle?

I've run my EVO through numerous courses now and never had it get snagged on anything or have trouble articulating it.

It's an issue primarily for the people using the OEM pistol handguards. The handle there is small enough that you're liable to rake your knuckles across the 9-o'clock/3-o'clock rails when charging the gun. On the HBI handguards, any of the metal charging handles run the risk of scraping the handguard itself, and the OEM handle is still kinda small.

I still firmly believe that an MP5-type handle would be golden for the Scorpion. Bigger than CZ OEM, but not so large as to be obtrusive.

That's what I'm hoping for, doesn't heave to be an inch and a half long, just maybe double+ factory. Aftermarket handguards are just as bad if not worse than factory since they made them wider to accommodate suppressors inside the handguard , they have a heavy taper towards the channel the charge handle rides in making the factory one seem even shorter than before.

see image at top right corner, where factory would be straight, aftermarket "not just hbi" are sunk in so now your limited to finger tip vs middle of finger. So regardless of material used some sort of extended handle is now NEEDed vs a wanted upgrade

Pump shotgun style?  Would have to be cylindrical, pull back then twist.

I mean honestly out of the 1,000's of rounds I've gone through in classes the charging handle is rarely even used.  The bolt release was primarily used.

I dunno, I guess I'm good with my reloads as I rarely would have failures that would require an immediate action clearing.
