Dunno. There are a lot of good single-stack 9mms out there already, i.e., Walther PPS, Glock 43, S&W M&P Shield, etc., at very competitive prices.

I don't want anybody futzing around with the PCR. Personally, I'd like to see CZ bring back the P-06 or my dream CZ which is a 97 in 10mm.

No, the double stack is easy to hide even with a tucked shirt. I can wear my 75 compact anywhere.

Like any firearm, it fill a niche........double stacks are nice no doubt about that, BUT I do believe CZ should make the natural progression into the slimmer single stacks......just seems logical, they make great firearms....a single stack 9mm the profile of a PCR but slimmer width, with the same DA/SA operation, even in a steel frame vs aluminum alloy since to me size (width) is more the issue, weight is kinda secondary.......this would be what the doctor ordered!

Yes, yes, and yes!!!  I love my stock PCR, but would like a thinner, lighter version.  All metal, keeping the aluminum frame, and traditional CZ-75 grip, and grip angle!

If I am going to carry a single stack, I would want it to be Rami sized.

The PCR is great; no need to change a thing.

Now, if CZ would introduce a newly-designed 45 cal single-stack compact, that would be interesting.

Now I could get interested in a compact version of the CZ97B/BD. That would be the cats rear end! O0

No.  You'll give up rounds with a thinner grip but probably not give up much with the slide width.

Most definitely

But putting on those thin aluminum grips is almost like a singlestack 1911 at least to me

I am sitting here holding my CZ compact all steel.. with grips off.. I like really thin grips.. make my own.. but anyways.. I CANNOT fathom any idea of this grip being narrower w/ a single stack mag.. I think it would be.. 'not quite right'.. my compact is as thin as I can think it should be.. w/ a good full length grip w/ pinky in place.. just right!,  easy to shoot accurately and fast.  just right.  hmm, hmmm,

I think CZ nailed it pretty hard to the barn door w/ the PO1 / PO6, PCR, Compact models.  NOW, give me a CZ97 in single stack.  I may be very very desirous!

+1 --unless I was in a mood to carry a 1911!
The rami sized single stack could play a role in front pants pocket.  Other than that, its been the majority OWB carry for me, so double stacks are nice.  Could see where those IWB guys would want more options thinner.

I don't see why people really would care much that a pocket gun might not be able to perform like a race gun, etc.  If you want to go racing use your race gun and keep the pocket gun in the pocket for SD duty.  Sure shoot your mouse gun enough to be proficient up close And have confidence in it protecting your life.  As someone else mentioned, different purposes.

I wouldn't like a single stack myself.  I have several 1911's  that are small and light enough that I can carry a 45 acp single stack  so why if limiting the round count go with a smaller caliber?
I have by the way a couple alloy framed officer and defender size 1911 as well as a couple Commander size alloy frames.
for others it might be worth while , not for me.
I choose to carry the p-01 as my EDC pistol and am fine with size and weight.

A single stack 8+ rds in .45 cal PO1 would be great.

I love my Rami--my next CZ will be a PCR--if one ever shows up in a LGS near me :)
