I think I will wait a while before I even consider this.

9mm has a bad habit of suffering from out of battery detonations while bump firing.

True, but doesn't the firing pin block in the EVO prevent OOB detonations ?

Curious why he specifies that it is not approved for pistols.

Because the definition of a pistol states that it is designed to be fired using one hand. The bumpfire device requires the use of two hands which could classify the weapon as an AOW.

That makes sense. Well... not really in the terms of "common sense" but it does based on the current laws and how they are written.

It's be better if they make an Echo trigger for it

Well, yeah. But that's not going to happen.

The trigger pull length on the scorpion is bleep near 1/2+ to 3/4 inches , is it even possible to bump that?

I can't see it working with the location of the mag release.

I've bump fired mine Until I was told here it is very dangerous so I stopped. It's easy and fun but I am not taking risks. Plus ammo is to precious. If a binary that works is made that's where it would be at.

Some one needs to come out with a gattling kit. That'd be fun as hell with scorpions. Use to have 1 several years for ruger 10/22s until 22lr started getting scarce and expensive. Totally impractical, towards the point of being rediculous but I liked it  ;D.

Russ, thanks for the mention here! We are working on CZ Scorpion bumpers now and hope to have some soon. We are also working on AR+AK GEN2 improvements at the same time so it is slowing the process down a bit. PM me if you want to be a "tester" for our CZ Scorpion bump project. Here is a bump function test from today where we are not limited to short bursts.

Anyone else see these? Saw a thread on AKFiles and they seem to work well, are cheaper and better looking than the completestock replacement version, and are getting popular for AKs and ARs. Noticed they have a page up now for a "coming soon" CZ Scorpion version too: http://www.bairarms.com/products/cz-scorpion
