Any of you 10mm fans using DT right now?  The stuff is
the prefered brand by most of the 10 Ring guys on GT.

What is your pet load from DT?

I have used some 200gr sxthps from them and I will order more. Mine has the 22lb spring and it will shoot the DT loads and the CCI blazer reliable. However before I go camping it will be loaded with the Double Tap ammo.

I can't remember the exact load but it produces a little over 700 ft/lbs of energy:eek   I haven't actually bought it but I talked with the owner/founder and he gave me the recipe.  I can't recall it right now, but I have it written down at home.  I have loaded it and it is accurate and very impressive in terminal ballistics.
Terminal ballistics=heighth of water spray from a gallon jug

For those of you into handloading, the 200 @1200 original Norma spec 10mm load can be duplicated by a Hornady 200 grain XTP over 10.0 grains of Blue Dot.  As with all handloading data, CAREFULLY work up to this level with your own gun and equipment, because pressures could be different for you!!

I think it's to DT's credit that they actually OFFER an original Norma spec load in 10mm.  That makes them totally unique today among ammo producers.  CorBon also makes good hot 10mm loads, but no 200's.

Maybe when the weather gets warmer and I get a few bucks ahead. I'll try some 165 gr. Gold Dots. The Speer bullets
are made locally and are just what I need for defense
and target.

Combining them with the velocity and quality control
at DT seems to have made alot of 10mm fans happy.

BTW: I really like Blue Dot for my TEN handloads.

I bought most of the ammo he produces for the 10MM but so far the only ammo I have shot has been the 180 gr. target load which shoots good in all my 10MM's.....

I load 9.3.grains of Blue Dot over a Rainier 165gr JHP for my 10mm target load. It's very accurate for me with my full size Witness. I recently got some GD 200gr JHP's that I want to load up for my woods load. Ain't it fun? One of these days Ill have to try some DT's.
