Jason where are they listed?  I found them on the CZ-UB site, but not on CZ-USA.  When I originally found them it seemed that they were limited to LEO and Military sales only.

If they're now available in the USA, do you have a clue on pricing?

I was told they are coming to the US.  I called again and was told that the first batch is for writers and so on and that the second batch will be for dealers.  No time frame though for second batch.

From me they will run about 750-760 + shipping.

Showoff! :lol  :lol

Seriously, I've only seen a pic of the one with the skeleton polymer buttstock, but one is supposed to be wood, so yours may look similar!

(And,also seriously, thanks, dancz!)

I hope that when they come in they don't have those cheezy looking plastic composite stocks and forearms.  I'd be much happier with Black, OD or Desert Tan furniture like you'll find from Tapco and other companies.

If you are referring to the stocks shown on mine above as being plastic then you are wrong they are not plastic composite or synthetic of any type. I dont know if the 58 is available with such a stock, I certainly have not seen one. The folding metal stock is available and I missed my opportunity of buying one at about 2500.00 a while ago.

Both now listed, $970 standard, and $990 with polymer stock. Spare mags $39 each, will not accept AK mags. Bummer. Would love to try one. If anyone gets one from CZ-USA, pictures and review required!!!8)

With a price like that, the Ohio Ordnance VZ 2000 looks like a better deal.

You guys want to give one a go. Had another play with one of mine today just to keep the eye in a little. I far prefer them to the AK.

Even if you could get it for $100 less, at $870, I'd still rather get the Ohio Ordnance. With mags running $40 each, the VZ 2000 is only $200 more (it comes with 4 extra mags), and for that price you get an extra folding stock, bayonet, sling, cleaning kit, and mag pouch.

I'll never be able to afford one with sifficient magazines. i will say they ARE cheaper than Ruger factory 20 round Mini-14 magazines!
