Stainless steel guide rod - any advantages

What will the stainless rod do better than poly stock one?

The stainless guide rods are more shinny than polymer. Other than that metal guide rods can add a small amount of weight to the front of a pistol. I still run the factory poly guide rods in most of my CZs, i feel they are more forgiving and up to this point i have not found them to be the source of any issues.

The plastic rod also acts as a light buffer for the slide.  The durability is proven many times over.

The plastique guide rod works just fine,no issues. There are steel versions available for us old guys who like steel parts in our pistols just like the steel bumpers on our cars.

Some say it adds more weight upfront and help reduce muzzle flip but the weight difference it negligible and the difference in the muzzle rise is unnoticeable in my opinion.  The guide rod are low stress item. The original CZ 75s have a short polymer guide rod and it has no problem handling the recoil or muzzle flip.
Also if the original guide were to fail that is a cheap part to replace.  My concern with using a metal guide rod is that it might damage the frame and the frame cost more to replace almost like buying a whole firearm already.

I've had stainless steel rods in all my CZ's for countless thousands of rounds and they have caused ZERO wear to the frame.

six of one, half dozen of another.........kind of a wash.....pretty much preference which is significant to each person....I have some both ways.  Even converted a couple classics to full length guide rods....all function the same.

Just like the 1911 bunch, G I rod, Full length, 2 piece, its all about if you want to spend more money , if you like one better than the other.
