anti-can't devices/bubble levels
« on: March 20, 2017, 07:01:58 PM »
I Will be setting up my first CZ455:) with a Nikon 2-7x32 for non competition bench and varmints soon. Wondering if anti-cant devices are useful for CZ455 .22LR, or not? Seeing this link http://www.accurateshooter.com/optics/canting-effect-on-point-of-impact/ made me curious, particularly the .22LR target. Directly below the .22 target shown is another link to view more canted rifle targets. On that link if you scroll down past the .177 air-gun targets you will find rimfire(.22) examples at varying cant angles and distances.

Thanks,
teis

I asked the same question the other day. Here is the thread.

Thanks Eddie,
Curious to know what you will choose? I like the idea of what Targetmaster said about the Wheeler brand that folds out of the way.

Joe, thanks for the instruction on leveling the anti-cant level. Nice!

I have not bought one yet, but leaning toward a cheaper one...

It has the same rating as the Vortex at half the price. But, I have been busy doing my trigger, getting some other things in order and haven't really thought much about the level.

Looks like a lucky find, high quality, at a great price! Thanks for passing it on. I'm checking the mail box to see if my scope rings have arrived. Like you, I changed my trigger, and wow, what a difference. Doing my first scope mount. Like you said earlier lots of reading, before getting to the shooting.
