I was afraid this would happen if I bought a P-07

Alrighty then! Done and done. Internals lightly polished and 4 Cajun Gun Works springs have been added. The difference was immediately noticeable. Average of 3 pulls using a Lyman digital pre and post upgrades: 10lbs 8oz down to to 8lbs 1.3oz in double action and 4lbs 4.5oz down to 3lbs 5oz in SA. The trigger is also much smoother. Still not as good as my Gen1 P07 Duty, but a helluva lot closer than it was. The "issue" I am still having is the hammer is just plain sloppy. It wobbles back and forth and seems like it is 2-3mm thinner than spec for the gun. I don't want to spend $90 more on this gun (via CGW hammer) but am not sure how the sloppy trigger is affecting the overall trigger pull. As you begin to pull the trigger in double action the hammer moves to the left then presses against the frame as it moves rearward. Doesn't seem like CZ should have let a gun leave the factory with a hammer like this.

I'm afraid that the hammer play is what CZ considers to be within factory specs. From my conversations with CZ USA the hammer play shouldn't cause any problems with function. I know that my 2014 P-09 had none of this hammer play, but my 2016 P-07 did. This drove me a little nuts, so I sent my P-07 to CZ USA. They inspected my P-07 and sent it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it.
Lucky for me another forum member was kind enough sent me a hammer from an older P-09 that he had after he did a hammer swap. I installed the hammer in my P-07 and there is no more hammer play.

My P09 had a lot of wobble, you can take some material off the frame if you'd like. It will effect trigger pull because you can feel the hammer grabbing the frame. When I did a CGW hammer spring it got rid of a ton of slop in my hammer. It's still travels to the left as I pull the trigger, but ever P series gun I've handled does the same.

 It is a shame that CZ does not have better quality control on their trigger components.    Of course, the other problem CZ has is that their manufacturing does not nearly meet distribution needs.  Otherwise, we could inspect before buying and actually get one with a good trigger.

Against my better judgment I have one inbound.  I am not afraid to strip down and polish, after dry firing and shooting.  Then I'll see about springs and things😉.
