No out some aluminum grips on that bad boy and get to work.

That's a good deal for you. Shields are everywhere and cheap now.

yup, some cool hand "grenades" are on the way and as long as it shoots fine then I think I did very well. I replaced my shield and 4 extra mags after I sold it for a total of $340 (after S&W rebate)... I can live with that trade

yup, it has a dawson precision FO front. he didn't mention that and a VERY nice upgrade. The original sight and the green replacement rod for the FO sight is in the case as well. The only thing I'm going to DOWNGRADE is the SS guide rod. Not so sure I want a steel rod in an alloy framed gun. I know it's not a big deal to many, but polymer ones are only like $10 shipped so I may swap it out just in case any damage does occur with the SS rod....or just swap in the polymer rod from my CZ-75 SP-01 compact since it's a steel gun (I mean, I can't see any reason why a SS guide rode would damage the full steel frame of the SP-01 compact ??).

sadly the polymer guide rods are out of stock for the P-01/Compact, unless anyone has a spare one they wouldn't mind selling?

It's like a trade of a life time. I'd rush to my LGS buy a brand new Shield and trade it to him lol. Great job.

Same here. Traded a shield for a minty CZ 75B and went ahead and ordered another shield.
