I just looked at the new FN and the trigger was so gritty that you could actually hear it.
Was not impressed at all , worst feeling striker trigger i ever felt .

Not a striker fan either, but the P10C is the first one I've considered. Though I've always liked FNs as well. That said, I shot an FNX-9, and I couldn't grip that pistol at all. Way too slippery.

I am neither a fan of striker fired, (except for my HK P7, nor am I a fan of polymer pistols.  I know I am in the minority, but that is OK.  I would consider a P10c if I were as I think the ergos would be better than other offerings.

The only FN pistol I have is a Browning Hi Power.

I don't know yet if I am going to be a fan of striker fired or not.  I'm definitely challenged with new shooters learning DA/SA with a decocker or a safety.  A revolver is easy for a new shooter.  If the P-10C is good, I can see using it to explain the Glocks and other striker fired operation to a new shooter.

If the trigger is good, I'll shoot it in a bullseye match in May.   With a red dot.  :) :)

Hah. I always feel like the revolver is hardest to shoot. I shot a revolver for the first time last Saturday, and getting a good grip was so hard!

Maybe its just me but I prefer cz's to be metal and have a hammer. That said, I do like striker fired but not when they look like a glock. Cz's are hard to come by as it is and I have a feeling unless you preordered and your ffl gets allocated a few, they are gonna be hard to find for a while.

You have a point. I'd rather wait and see how it does.

I will wait also. Besides, I already have a CZ striker fire handgun and it suits me fine. Two of them actually! LOL

Whaa, is it a glock? I can't get over how much it looks like a glock.

No, the discontinued CZ 100 (one in 9mm, the other in .40). But I do currently have a Glock 23 also, which isn't the Glock in the comparison shot below lol.

No, but it should since the P-10C is finally on the ground, and some are making their way out into society as we speak. :)
Brinks...that's funny - I knew a bunch of Brinks guys back when I was doing armored work, (the screen name isn't an accident. ;) ), and they were required to use company equipment, which at the time was a Smith Model 64 DAO with bobbed hammer. The first company I worked for required a 38Spl revolver with 158 gr widow maker ammo, hated that stuff, and the second was, "Hey, whatever you have that will work!" Carried my EAA Witness 40SW there for years - yes, that was pre CZ. :)
Brinks is a big outfit, but they are always behind the times with sidearms. On the other hand, I did see a Loomis guard one day carrying a Police Positive with a 6 inch barrel....

I heard an ad on my favorite local AM radio for the FN-509 today!  I'm thinking they are hitting the market hard this week.

Not for me, though.  I'll stick with my lowly P-10C, when I get it.  Probably.

Not in to much of a hurry any more for the P10c. Also have gotten curious about the Stryk B. Lots of options out there, but again, not in a hurry anymore. I will let them be thourouly tested in market first.

Finally got to handle a 509 today - very nice. The fit, finish, grip, magazine, almost everything was perfect. As for the trigger: it's not as good as a stock Glock but better than a S&W. Not a whole lot of take-up but the travel was plastic rubbing feeling (if that makes sense), the break was crisp, didn't notice any overtravel, reset was short but again with the plastic rubbing feeling. If the trigger will wear-in with use and smooth out the 509 could be a solid option.
