New owner of cz p07/round in the chamber question.

Howdy! Iam new cz gun owner, my first cz gun. I was so amze how the gun feels in your hand and how it shoots. I shot 100 rounds already and i had 1 ftf. My only concern is i notice everytime i chamber a round the is visible in between the ejection port and extractor. Is this normal with cz guns especially the p07? One more question, how to enable the picrure attachements so i could up load the picture? Thanks everyone!

Yeah! It looks like a weird loaded chamber indicator. Kinda bothered me for a while thank you for confirming it was normal now i would be confident to carry it.

The one miss-feed is probably just from the gun being new and tight.  Take the slide off and add some oil on the barrel OD and on the rails and put it back on and continue to shoot it.  There could be some polymer rub on the slide that is slowing it down just a little.  I bet you won't have any more failure to feeds after a few hundred rounds.

Some guns don't suffer from a break in period, or don't need to be broken it, however you want to look at it.

I have bought three new CZ 75 Compacts in the last few months.  Only one has had a failure to feed and that just once.  The others have been 100% right out of the box.

Different guns are different.

Just shoot it some more.  Every time it goes bang internal parts are getting a small amount of "wear" that results in the gun operating more smoothly.

 As stated by others it's normal in the P-07 and the P-09. I installed CGW parts and polished my 07 and 09, it really transformed them in my opinion. What part of the state are you in? I'm hanging around the Albuquerque area for a while, if you're interested in checking them out send me a PM.

And for what it's worth, my P-07 was the worst for me in the beginning for FTE.  They're sprung pretty tight so some weaker factory loads wouldn't cycle well in mine. 

I finally shortened my recoil spring about 3/4" and it has run fine ever since.  The proper way to do it would be to order a lighter spring but I wanted instant results so that 'fix' has never been corrected.
