For concealed carry I slap the original barrel and recoil guide back in.
Honestly I shoot 50 rounds through my RAMI at the range every week.
I just liked the technical challenge and uniqueness (The first one in the entire world).
It also makes it nicer to shoot at targets, and really didn't make it any louder than that stubby little barrel already does.
I am well aware of the debate about ported guns for self defense, but as I said, for carry I just pop the original barrel in.

So far I have been able to add compensators to all 4 of my CZ's and both of my CZ clones.
Next maybe my Bersa Thunder plus.

Having now shot my SP01(357 SIG) and my Witness Match(10mm) with 2 port compensators I am never going back on those 2.
Zero muzzle rise with magnum cartridges takes a bit of getting used to, but is so cool.

To me modern firearms are lego sets, and I love tinkering.

I've been interested in getting a threaded barrel for my RAMI BD 9mm NOT for muzzle flip, but for a suppressor  - I'd like it to be my in-house defensive weapon in the bedroom - would save having to put on ear muffs in a home invasion situation.  I've asked Cajun Gunworks if they could produce such a threaded barrel, but haven't heard back from them.

Well my first solution for the extended threaded barrel failed.
It survived 1 clip and then simply broke at the thinnest section at the end of the barrel.
Now I will attempt a second solution.
I found 9mm barrel liner at Numrich Gun Parts.

I will silver solder the extension back on.
Bore the barrel and extension to .442" inside.
Slide the barrel liner in and silver solder in place.
Trim and crown the muzzle end.
Trim and re-chamber the breach end.

I have done it on several 22's, but only just found the 9mm barrel liner so I will give it a try.
This would also work for a silencer extension.
I had to buy a 11.2 mm (0.440") drill bit for the boring out.
I will pick up the 9mm chamber reamer this weekend.
Luckily the RAMI 9mm barrels have a decent wall thickness.

I will post my results, but I am confident it will work fine.

My hat is off to you sir! Very impressed, I love to tinker with my adult lego's too, but you really bring to the next level

I went to Trinidad State Jr College's Gunsmithing program back in 1984.
With that stuff in your head all guns look like LEGO sets.
Once you know the rules of what is safe and unsafe, your only limit is your imagination.
The AR-15 crowd is coming to this late in the game.
I learned on Mauser 98's.
