Shadow 2 guide rod

Am I the only one who is wondering why the nip of the guide rod looks like it wants to hop over piece of the barrel it is resting on?

This is normal to have it so close to the edge right?

Same here. It looks like it was designed so that the nipple would fit into a female recess.

Even odder is it seems to set a little bit higher to the edge this time than the previous reassemble. 

The end of the guide rod looks like it is peeking out of the end of the hole ever so slightly as well. Odd when it was slightly recessed before??

Probably stuff that you everyday joe would not notice but my OCD notices stuff like this.  Not in a bad way, just noticed that's all

Oh no I'm not, just wondering how it changes from slightly recessed to slightly out.  And I'm talking barely.

I'm just splitting hairs big time as I swear it was slightly recessed when I bought it

And I think a lot has to do how you line the buffer up
