Shadow family ...
« on: May 17, 2017, 10:41:05 AM »
Is there a listing of the various "Shadow" pistols somewhere?  My searches have not turned up anything.  I have a 91705 which I think is the original or first one.  I'm really curious about the different models/flavors ... especially with the Shadow 2 now becoming available ... except for the "blue" model ... :(

Not aware of any listing......the various versions available under the moniker of the "Shadow" name are differentiated by model numbers...varying in price from $800-1500.  Unfortunately it's purely a research effort on ones part to figure out what the differences are and even for the diligent not always easy  ???.....only thing I would say is, in general, don't "trust" what a dealer says, I've found they know the least about the variations within CZ's, let alone a line of CZ's like the Shadow series.

You're better off letting us know what you want and will be doing, and we can offer suggestions. Though in my opinion I don't see a reason to not buy an S2 unless cost is an issue. The prices are starting to come down, and the ergonomics have improved tremendously.

The comparison information is what I want really ... as a matter of curiosity.

Y'all take care.

You can start your comparisons with I believe was the first production model,  the "SP01 Shadow"
I also believe this came out of the CZ Custom Shop.
CZC folks might be able to help with the production sequence of Shadow models.I'm
