Salut l'ami.
I had a look on the website you gave me the link to.
A lot of things are "
to be confirmed" which means they're not on stock...
When I bought the Compact a couple of months ago and saw the state of the spring and its guide rod, I ordered the 2 parts at my gunshop.
To date, he still hasn't got them and doesn't know WHEN he'll get them! He says CZ has too much orders for guns and that the rest doesn't follow up. People have been waiting for some guns for MONTHS...
I wanted to buy a 577 Range Rifle last year and no one was able to give me a delivery date :
one or two months or...maybe more, we don't know. They are now available on stock. I didn't wait and went for a Tikka CTR (308 Win) which was MORE expensive.
No regrets anyways because the Tikka is really nice, very precise and all weather (stainless steel and plastic).
Anyways, I was thinking of getting some spares "just in case" like a recoil spring + guide rod, ejector/pin/spring, slide stop
Concerning the guide rod, I see plastic and metal ones. Which to prefer and why?
My CZ75 has a plastic guide.
What's the bushing on a CZ75?
I do know what it is on a 1911, the front part, but on a CZ75???
