P07 slide round chambered indicater

On the right side of the slide isn't it supposed to stick out slightly when a round is chambered? Mine is the opposite, goes smooth when chambered.

Just tolerance stacking. Nothing "wrong" with it.

Do you have a newer p07, or the earlier Duty model?

It's a new PO7. Usually the indicated is out for a round chambered and my taurus is red on the end. This just seems backwards compared to my other pistols. Maybe a CZ thing.

On some guns the loaded chamber indicator/extractor sticks out on the end towards the chamber when a cartridge is loaded - on the P-07 the extractor  sticks out on the end towards the rear of the slide when a cartridge is not loaded.

Honestly I would never trust a loaded chamber indicator.

On the P-09 there is a "peep hole" on the side where you can see brass that is not the same on the -07 ?

Good point - on my P-07s there is a small "gap" at the rear of the ejection port on the slide and the chamber - when I have a round chambered I can see brass there. No need for a press check or LCI...

There is a peep area to see the brass and no I wouldn't trust the indicator if my gun is loaded or not I just thought it would stick out not go in.
