Slide Sight Milling
« on: June 12, 2017, 08:47:52 AM »
Just for fun, here is a stop action pic of a slide being milled for the fully adjustable LPA-TRT (on a Shadow 2).  The big 2" shell end mill cutter was spinning at 2,000 rpm when the camera shutter froze the fast moving cutter.  The shower of sparks is the molten metal cut from the slide.  Looks like the 4th of July when these are being cut.

That is neat!  In the new shop, will you be able to do red dot sight patterns?

PS, I've been looking for my blue gorillapod.   :) :)
